Just Positive exists because the record of the world is incomplete when it is only a record of harm. We cover politics, technology, religion, science, culture, health, community, business, sport, and the living environment — whenever the story is genuinely good, and whenever it is true.

We are not a cheerleading desk. We do not sand off complexity, and we do not invent silver linings. We look for evidence of repair: a policy that cut homelessness, a vaccine that reached a million children, a river that has salmon in it again. Then we report it with the same care a breaking-news desk would give a crisis.

Our beat is global. A cooperative microgrid in western Kenya belongs next to a mill revival in Yorkshire and a city council vote in Phoenix. Positive news is not a genre of lifestyle content. It is public information.
